Purse Friendly Online Fashion

I was recently contacted by FashionVouchers.com and invited to enter their blogger competition. The idea is to write a post about some great websites for money saving fashion, giving details on why you think these sites are so good & how they can save you money.

As soon as i read this email it immediately struck a cord with me, as for the past few weeks i have done nothing but trawl the internet for Mexico goodies - One shalt look hot in Cancun! My poor bank card has had some serious steam coming off it and my mum is forever joking that we're becoming a second post office the with the number of parcels coming through the door. Whoops! She loves me really.

Now despite the fact i'm currently in full time work, i still live in my student mindset, and ever since i've had to part with my beloved student discount card i've become the biggest tight wod with my pennies! I totally miss having £'s knocked off my bill and when your saving to move out of the family home, every little helps! So here's my list of top sites that's kept my wardobe fully stocked and fabulous whilst preventing my purse from getting mothballs :)
---------

ASOS - The holy grail for online fashion in my opinion, and no doubt most of you will have shopped here or at least heard of it before. I love that they offer a yearly delivery fee of £14.95 that once paid allows you to shop freely without the worry of those pesky delivery charges! For me there's nothing worse than perfectly calculating your basket to discover there's an extra £3-£4 on top.. Booo. Plus if your like me and envisage yourself purchasing on ASOS for all seasons then this could save you a hell of a lot of money in a 12 month period. They also have a Marketplace, that works a little like Ebay allowing people to buy and sell new, pre-owned and vintage fashion, however because ASOS is such a fashion forward site i find it much easier to source good things on here without having to trawl through a bunch of rubbish first.

Forever21 - This is a relatively new one for me, but ever since i discovered it i've been in love! There aren't too many Forever21 stores in the UK so for a lot of people the website is pretty much the only way of getting your hands on their stuff. The prices are ridiculously good, very budget friendly whilst still managing to hit all the trends for that season. I recently purchased a lovely little skater dress from here with the cutest peter pan collar :) Peter pan collars are my achilles heel this summer! They have a really good plus size range on this site which i think lacks somewhat in online fashion these days; everything from swimwear to jeans which means curvier ladies can get their fashion fix too without worrying about sizing issues. Forever21 also give people the opportunity to sign up to receive e-mail promotions; i do this myself and have found some really good deals in there, it doesn't feel like junk mail at all.

Matalan - This used to be one of those shops that i considered "mumsy" and i never particularly bothered with them until i realised how cheap they were and how un-mumsy some of their stuff was! I have purchased a good 5 bikini's from them this year, and collectively what i paid for all of them i could probably have spent on one single bikini at a higher priced store, but who wants ONE bikini on holiday?! One for everyday more like. I love their shoes, bags and accessories, as again they are all brilliantly priced and very on trend. I recently blogged about some pieces of cross jewellery i got from here and i have had so many comments on where they are from; people are suprised when i say Matalan! Online they have a fab sale range and at the moment everything in it is half price. A pair of classic aviators for £2.50? Yes please.

Etsy - Etsy is a website a little like Ebay that i have discovered through blogging and the beauty of it is that it specialises in handmade and vintage items. There is a specific fashion section that is pretty huge and i could literally trawl through it all day. I think even a little something unique and beautiful can make a whole outfit, and some of the accessories on here would do just that. I've fallen in love with an aztec style rucksack and some vintage headbands recently which are all on my payday wishlist and are all suprisingly affordable considering how well made and beautiful they really are. I love how this website encourages the arty side of life and how you can end up owning things that are really one of a kind.

And those are some my faves :)

Can anyone recommend any others?
