Rimmel 1000 Kisses Lip Tint Pen

So when i first bought one of these pens a few weeks back i thought when it came to blogging about it i'd have nothing but good things to say, turns out, i'm actually not a big fan at all. Rimmel you have let me down!

Initially i really liked this product, it seemed like a perfect combination with the pen and the balm - I have used lip tint pens in the past that have seriously dried out my lips so i thought the balm really solved the problem. However, I have only used this a handful of times and already the pen is virtually dried out! I'd like to point out i have always replaced the lid properly and kept it away from any sunlight etc so this is not my fault! I really struggle to get any colour on my lips at all now and dragging the pen across them to do so is pretty uncomfortable and leaves a really wishy woshy stain over the top. Granted the first few times i used it it was quite good, pigmented and full of product so it just glided on lovely. I'm now currently left with a rather small stick of balm at the bottom which may come in handy to use over the top of other lip products but hardly worth the £5.99 i paid for it!

The idea of a lip pen still appeals to me, so i'm on the hunt for a better one! but quite frankly this one was a joke. No recommendations!

  2. I haven't been impressed with the last 3 things I bought by Rimmel so they're in my bad books too! xx

  3. You should give the Maxfactor one a try. The end gets a bit weird - like when kids go mad with a felt tip pen! But the product itself doesn't dry out quickly!
